Built for an active life. A dedicated gear storage space keeps surfboards, bikes, and hiking essentials within reach, while the covered entryway provides a place to shake off the day’s dirt before stepping inside.

Outland_cabin_bathroom — A light-filled bathroom where even the simplest routines feel elevated. The skylit shower lets you rinse off beneath natural light, offering a quiet connection to the outdoors while keeping comfort at the core.

Reimagining Prefabrication

Outland’s first prefab home is designed by Gabriel Calatrava and his team at CAL in New York City. This second home reimagines the timeless ideals of midcentury modernism through the lens of sustainable prefabrication. Its design draws inspiration from the refined logic of Mies van der Rohe’s Farnsworth House and Philip Johnson’s Glass House—celebrating efficiency, clarity, and connection to nature—yet it replaces steel with the warmth and responsibility of mass timber construction.
